Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • Bookings: name, email, phone number, optional Instagram username, selected tickets and quantities, price, booking status, payment reference and relevant timestamps.
  • Partner accounts: name or DJ name, email for new registrations, referral code, a salted password hash (or protected legacy access key), private session records, attributed sales and commission records.
  • Email-list signups: email address, opt-in wording, signup time and source.
  • Technical and support information: session cookies, security/request information and details you send us when requesting help. Rate limiting uses hashed identifiers derived from the request’s IP address and sign-in email; infrastructure providers may also process request logs.

Why we use it

We use booking and account information to provide the requested service, reconcile payments, administer referrals, respond to support requests, protect the site and meet applicable legal obligations. Where applicable, this processing is necessary for a contract, legal compliance or another permitted basis.

Marketing is separate. Buying a ticket or creating a partner account does not automatically enrol you in the event email list. We use email-list details for future-event updates only when you opt in.

Payments and service providers

Payment is completed on Ziina. We send the amount, currency, package description and payment return information, and receive the payment reference and status. Card details entered on Ziina are handled by the payment provider, not collected by this website.

Website hosting, database, security and payment providers process information needed to operate their services. We may disclose information where required by law or needed to address a legitimate legal claim. Infrastructure processing may occur outside your country, subject to applicable safeguards and requirements.

Referral partners can see their attributed booking references, package counts, status and commission. The partner dashboard does not expose customers’ names, email addresses, phone numbers or Instagram usernames. Newsletter addresses are not shared with referral partners.

Ticket emails

When ticket email delivery is enabled, Brevo processes your name, email address and ticket details to send your booking tickets and QR codes. These transactional emails do not sign you up for marketing. We record submission status and the email provider reference to investigate sending problems. Keep your private ticket links and QR codes secure.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, including booking administration, support, accounting, disputes and legal obligations. A deletion request may not remove records we must retain for those purposes.

We use access controls and private account sessions. Keep your password and any legacy access key secure: they provide dashboard access. We do not store plaintext passwords. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to processing, or receive a copy where applicable law provides those rights. You can withdraw consent for future-event emails at any time by sending “unsubscribe” and the subscribed email address to @expressoyourselfparties on Instagram. Withdrawal does not undo lawful processing before it.

For privacy requests, contact the same account and describe the request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that the data belongs to you. Do not send passwords, full card details or unnecessary identity documents. You may raise concerns with the competent data-protection authority.

Cookies, links and updates

See our Cookie Policy for session storage. Instagram and Ziina operate under their own privacy notices when you use them. We may update this notice as our services change; the date above identifies this version.
